Referral Success in 14 Days!

Thomas Morris and Dey, King & Haria completed a Network referral within two weeks of the customer making an initial enquiry. Here’s both sides of the story...

The Thomas Morris Timeline 

-26 February 2015: Emma, from Thomas Morris’ Ramsey office, registered Mr & Mrs ABC as a buyer. The customers had a property to sell in an area covered by fellow member, Dey, King & Haria’s Watford office. Identifying this, Emma sent a Network referral to Dey, King & Haria, so that they could attend a valuation and received an update from Dey, King & Haria to confirm that the appointment had been made to visit Mr & Mrs ABC that afternoon.

-27 February: Dey, King & Haria listed the property for sale.

-7 March: Mr & Mrs ABC had an Open House, including 18 viewings. The day ended with two offers.

-W/c 9 March: Dey, King & Haria negotiated a sale on Mr & Mrs ABC’s property. Not only that, but the customer also agreed to purchase through Thomas Morris at Ramsey. So in addition to the sale fee, Thomas Morris also received a percentage of the fee from Dey, King & Haria because they referred the customer, earning a total of nearly &10,000!

Dey King & Haria
We received a property referral from Thomas Morris, as well as detailed information, which we found useful for our market appraisal preparation, as it gave us an insight into our prospective client’s property history. We met with [Mr and Mrs ABC] who had seen a house they instantly fell in love with and were eager to secure. We discussed price, fees and our marketing strategy which secured the instruction at the market appraisal. We arranged an open house for the weekend, which was attended by 18 hopeful buyers, including several acceptable offers within a week of the initial call from Thomas Morris.

"The customer is delighted to achieve a fantastic price on their property through Dey King & Haria and be a step closer to securing their dream home through Thomas Morris. This is the one of the reasons why we 
became a Network member, to help motivated clients with their relocation, and we look forward to many more success stories in the future.

At the time of publication, the anticipated completed date is June/July time.



From 1 January 2015 to 31 October 2015, Relocation Agent Network a division of Cartus Limited (together known as “Cartus”) are administering the 2015 Referral Prize Draws on behalf of Relocation Agent Network’s Advisory Council. National Conference: Save the Date

Our decision to return to the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel follows the success of our previous events and feedback from members in our 2014 post-Conference survey. Stay tuned for more updates and communications about this year's must-attend event!

The Venue
The venue has excellent travel links, extensive conference facilities, a well-equipped health and leisure suite and luxurious bar, lounge and restaurant amenities. In addition, the spectacular views overlooking the River Thames, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, provide the perfect setting for our Annual Conference.


Travel
The Park Plaza Riverbank has excellent rail and air links. Located near to Waterloo rail and underground station and Vauxhall rail and underground station, the venue’s location also offers direct links to Victoria, Kings Cross, St Pancras International, Euston and Paddington. Heathrow and London City airports are within easy reach via the underground and Gatwick can be reached using rail connections to Victoria. If you are planning to drive, the hotel does not have its own car park but there are car parks in close proximity to the Conference venue.


Staying The Weekend?
The Park Plaza Riverbank is close to many of London’s most popular tourist sites. The London Eye, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square are all within easy walking distance. Thames River boat trips are also available from nearby Westminster Pier and with Knightsbridge and Oxford Street a short distance away, early Christmas shopping is a possibility!

-Referral Performance Criteria. It’s no longer just about reaching that coveted top spot in your Referral League, but instead, making year on year improvements to your company's referral performance and the commitment made to our online referral training programme.

-Network Participation & Support. Do you attend our regional meetings, complete our monthly survey and actively promote your unique Network membership? All will go towards your final points score.

-Mystery Shopper. We will be conducting a mystery shopper exercise as part of the submission process. Taking place later in the year, our mystery shopper will really test your customer service skills and Local Expert status.
